Descrizione
Può raggiungere i 12 cm di lunghezza totale. La sua colorazione varia, dal marrone al verde scuro. Si nutre di uova di pesce e invertebrati bentonici , tra cui granchi , ricci di mare , ofiuroidi , policheti , spugne e molluschi. Può essere trovato nel commercio di acquari.
Diffusione
È una specie di labro originaria dell'Oceano Indiano e dell'Oceano Pacifico occidentale. Può essere trovato in gruppi a profondità da 1 a 40 m vicino le scogliere.
